Visa, Mastercard to halt operations in Russia - Fedorov

The Visa and Mastercard systems will halt operations in Russia.
According to Ukrinform, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said this on Telegram.
"Visa is leaving Russia and will suspend transactions in the coming days," he wrote.
According to Fedorov, Mastercard is also suspending operations in Russia.
The National Bank of Ukraine earlier demanded that international reinsurers, insurance and reinsurance brokers suspend cooperation with Russia.
On March 1, Mastercard and Visa blocked access to the payment system for several Russian banks.
