Enemy building additional pontoon bridges across Siversky Donets River
As the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook, Russian troops continue to conduct offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone to establish full control over the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and keep the land corridor with the temporarily occupied Crimea.
In Volyn and Polissia directions, certain units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus continue to reinforce the section of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border in Brest and Gomel regions.
The readiness of the aviation component of the duty air defense facilities of Belarus was checked.
According to the General Staff, there is still a threat of missile and bomb strikes on Ukrainian objects from the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
In Siversky direction, the aggressors try to prevent the reserves of Ukraine’s Armed Forces from redeploying to the Eastern Operational Zone by keeping the appropriate set of troops.
In the areas of Russia’s Bryansk and Kursk regions bordering Ukraine, the enemy deployed part of the units withdrawn to restore combat capability.
In the future, the enemy could stage provocations in the areas adjacent to the state border of Ukraine. In particular, the Defense Forces units and infrastructure in the border areas could come under fire.
In Slobozhansky direction, the enemy group of the 6th combined arms army, coastal troops of the Baltic and Northern Fleets focus on holding positions in the area north and southeast of Kharkiv, trying to deploy additional artillery units.
In Izium direction, the invaders operate with units of the 1st guards tank army, the 20th combined arms army of the western military district, the 35th combined arms army, the 68th army corps of the eastern military district and the airborne forces.
According to the General Staff data, the enemy focuses the main efforts on conducting reconnaissance and inflicting fire damage on the Ukrainian units.

In Donetsk and Tavriysky directions, Russian units try to launch an offensive in the Lyman, Sievierodonetsk, and Popasna directions.
The enemy continues to try to establish full control of Rubizhne and Popasna, carries out preparatory measures to advance towards Sievierodonetsk, continues artillery shelling of the positions of Ukrainian defenders.
In Kurakhove direction, the grouping of Russian troops was reinforced by additional artillery units from the 1st army corps.
In Mariupol direction, the enemy continued to launch airstrikes on Mariupol, focusing its efforts on blocking Ukrainian defenders in the area of the Azovstal plant, and redeployed some units from Mariupol to Kurakhove direction.
The invaders continue to launch air and missile strikes to destroy civilian infrastructure and disrupt the logistics of Ukrainian troops.
In the Southern Buh and Bessarabsky directions, Russian forces try to fight in order to improve their tactical position, continue to regroup, increase the system of fire damage, and harden positions.
The Ukrainian defenders hold certain defensive lines, eliminate the enemy, continue to advance deep into the territories occupied by Russians, and liberate settlements.
