That’s according to an update by Operational Command South, Ukrinform reports.
"The situation in the southern region’s operational zone remains difficult albeit controlled. The enemy continues to wage hostilities along the occupied defense lines. Gaining no success on land, the Russians were active with aerial reconnaissance, also employing a variety of means of air attack, the statement reads.
Throughout the day, the enemy struck the positions of the Armed Forces along the contact line, using drones, helicopter pairs, and a fighter-bomber, which launched an air-to-surface Kh-59 missile. In the evening hours, the enemy attacked infrastructure facilities in Nikopol with unguided missiles launched by a Mi-24 helicopter. One building was destroyed; no casualties were reported.
Army aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck three enemy strongholds in Soldatske and Oleksandrivka, as well as an enemy manpower, weapons, and equipment cluster in Vysokopillia.
