Seven S-300 missiles fired at Kharkiv region late Thu
That’s according to Oleh Syniehubov, the chief of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, who spoke at the national telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"At around 23:00, seven missiles were launched from the territory of the Russian Federation at Kharkiv region. Three explosions occurred directly in Kharkiv - in the Osnovyansk and Kyiv districts. The destruction caused by the missiles is relatively insignificant as we identified the first explosion (found the impact site - ed.) only at one o'clock in the morning, while the other two were discovered already in the morning. So the enemy did not hit the targets. The third missile did not explode at all," said the head of the RMA.
He noted that it was difficult to say whether the enemy struck at random, chaotically, or targeting local infrastructure, but the strikes were anything but precise.
According to the official, four explosions were recorded in the industrial zone of Kupiansk. According to the latest data, there are no casualties. Work at the strike sites continues, but it is complicated by the fact that the enemy continues to shell the city, as well as other border settlements of Kharkiv region, with artillery, MLRS, and mortars.
"On the contact line, the enemy intensified its operations, but the situation is completely under the control of the Armed Forces. At any attempt to advance, the enemy suffers losses and retreats," the administration head said.
As reported, an industrial enterprise premises in Kharkiv suffered damage as a result of Russian missile attacks.
