AFU restrain offensive in Bakhmut, where Russia deploys largest number of forces

On the night of April 19, Ukrainian air defense units eliminated Russian manpower and equipment in the Bakhmut direction and, in addition, two more drones ZALA and Orlan.
The Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
According to Syrskyi, the Bakhmut direction remains the epicenter of the Russian offensive.
"The enemy is concentrating the largest number of its forces in Bakhmut and dreams of taking the city completely under its control. However, the Defense Forces are holding back the enemy's offensive in dynamic battles, inflicting significant losses on the enemy," the Colonel General said.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, according to Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Hanna Maliar, Bakhmut has already become the most expensive operation for Russia.
