120,000 previously mobilized Russian soldiers not yet deployed in Ukraine – Budanov
Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense, said this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
"An interesting question (how many of those mobilized Russians have not yet been sent to Ukraine — ed.). About 120,000 of the number that was (earlier — ed.) officially called up," he said.
Budanov noted that those mobilized people are currently on the territory of Russia.
"They can't all be deployed, you have to understand that. Because there are losses, there is some ongoing work and someone has to do it. Since the losses are quite significant, someone has to compensate for this shortfall," he said.
As reported, the Kremlin wants to recruit 400,000 "volunteers,” the British Ministry of Defense said on March 30, referring to intelligence data.
