Russian troops in the morning fired at border settlements in Kharkiv region, one person was wounded.
The Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"This morning, the Russian occupiers again fired at the border settlements of the region. Unfortunately, civilians are suffering. The village of Petropavlivka in Kupiansk district came under enemy fire. According to preliminary data, a 73-year-old woman sustained a shrapnel wound," Syniehubov said.
According to him, medics are currently providing the victim with all the necessary assistance.
As reported, on May 1, the Russian army shelled three districts of Kharkiv region, injuring two people and damaging private houses.
