Russians mortar areas in Sumy, Chernihiv region 113 times on Sat

Throughout the day, Russian troops shelled the areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions close to the border with Russia.

That’s according to Operational Command North, Ukrinform reports.

In Chernihiv region, from 00:00 to 00:20, 11 hits were recorded, likely involving a 120 mm mortar, in the area of Halahanivka.

From 10:55 to 11:10, 14 hits, likely involving a 120-mm mortar, were recorded in the area of Mykolaivka.

In Sumy region, from 12:40 to 13:00, four hits, likely a 120 mm mortar, were recorded near Fotovizh.

From 12:45 to 15:00, came 25 hits, also likely fired by a 120-mm mortar, in the area of Radionivka.

From 15:00 to 15:10, four 120 mm mortar strikes were reported near Chuykivka.

From 14:50 to 16:00, 14 hits were reported, likely involving a 120 mm mortar, in the area of Novovasylivka.

From 16:15 to 16:16, eight hits were recorded, possibly small arms fire, in the area of Chuykivka.

From 16:20 to 17:30, 33 strikes, likely a 120mm mortar, were seen near Rudenka.

The attacks brought no casualties, according to the report from the ground. No damage to civilian infrastructure was reported either.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russian troops shelled the areas of Sumy region bordering Russia six times during the night and morning hours.
