Blast in Zaporizhzhia: six children injured in hospital

Six children were injured in Zaporizhzhia as a result of an explosion of an unknown military aircraft in a park on Wednesday.

Chief doctor of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Children's Hospital Yuriy Borzenko told journalists, Ukrinform reports.

"Six children aged 1 to 17 were taken to the regional children's hospital. All of them have mine-blast injuries. Not severe, of moderate severity. All of them are currently hospitalized," he said.

Two of the injured have soft tissue bruises and may be released after being examined by doctors.

Earlier it was reported that in the afternoon an unknown enemy military object exploded in one of the districts of Zaporizhzhia. It is also known that five adults were injured.
