Unknown object detonates in Kherson region, injuring two boys

In the village of Tryfonivka in Kherson region, children found an unknown object that detonated while they were playing. Boys, 8 and 10, were injured.

"In Tryfonivka, children found an unknown object on the street. While playing, the object detonated. Boys aged 8 and 10 were injured," Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko posted on Telegram.

According to his information, the children have brain injuries and contusions.

"The younger one also received shrapnel injuries to his body and hands, a burn to his leg," Prokudin noted.

He added that the boys were hospitalized in a moderate condition. The children are provided with the necessary medical assistance.

Currently, parents are asked to explain to their children the dangers of playing with unknown objects.

As reported, the Russian army launched 69 strikes on Kherson region over the past day, July 15, killing one person.
