Three injured as Russian artillery shells Nikopol
Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported the news on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.
"Yesterday evening, the enemy covered Nikopol with artillery fire. Three people were injured. A man, 57, and a woman, 78, were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds in a moderate severity condition. Another man, 42, will receive outpatient treatment," the post reads.
Eight households, nine commercial premises, and a power line were damaged in the area.
In the early hours of Saturday, the aggressor shelled the city again, hitting beat an industrial enterprise.
The strike brought no casualties.
The Russians also launched an attack drone, which was shot down by the East Operational Command troops. Tentative reports suggest the Russians employed a Shahed-136 kamikaze drone.
