National Guard destroy three Russian 'Proryv' tanks in Lyman direction
This was reported by the press service of the National Guard on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to storm the positions of the National Guard. Having been defeated, the attackers retreated, but later the so-called 'pride' of Russian tank building - brand new T-90-Ms - came to help them. However, the enemy armor did not pass the test of the Lyman forests and our defense," the statement said.
The National Guard said that these tanks had hit mines and were unable to move, so that was the end of the Russian 'Proryv'.
"Soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine used anti-tank weapons to finish off the enemy vehicles. The tanks burned down completely," said a National Guard officer with the call sign 'Fizruk'.
As reported, in the Luhansk region, Ukrainian defenders destroyed an enemy tank that had been shelling Nevske for three days.
