Invaders prepare early pseudo-elections in Zaporizhzhia - Mayor of Melitopol

Mayor of the temporarily occupied Melitopol Ivan Fedorov said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"In September, the occupiers are in a hurry to form a 'legislative assembly and local government'. A real hunt has already been announced for voters in the settlements on the contact line. The occupiers will hold pseudo-elections here ahead of schedule. From August 31 to September 7, they are going to visit every house to force our people to take part in this circus," Fedorov said. 

Fedorov noted that everyone understands why the rashists are in a hurry - in September, they may not have time to vote in the temporarily occupied territories, so they will have to "draw" the results again - with threats and at gunpoint.

Earlier, the mayor reported that "rashists are forcibly passported the staff of the Zaporizhzhia NPP." Residents of Enerhodar are threatened with repression and intimidation: regular searches are conducted both on the streets and in their homes, passports and phones are checked. If a citizen's passport turns out to be Ukrainian, the document is destroyed and they are forced to apply for a Russian passport. Other documents are also forced to be changed: driver's licenses, documents of ownership of movable and immovable property.
