Enemy shells Nikopol district seven times on Monday
Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"A day of continuous shelling. Since morning, the enemy has attacked the Nikopol district seven times. He shelled the district with heavy artillery. Most strikes targeted Nikopol. There is a dead person and an injured person," the post reads.
He said that shelling in the city damaged eight private houses, three outbuildings, a car, a gas pipeline and three power lines.
In the Marhanets community, a fire broke out as a result of shelling. Firefighters have already put out the blaze.
The aggressor's heavy artillery also worked in the Velykomykhailivka community of the Synelnykove district. A house was damaged.
In the afternoon, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down a missile over the region. The wreckage fell in the Dnipro district. A 34-year-old woman was injured. Her condition is satisfactory. She is undergoing treatment at home.
