Over 1,500 children remain under fire in Zaporizhzhia communities
Artem Kisko, head of the Zaporizhzhia regional police, said this during a press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"In the eight communities of the region where hostilities are taking place, there are 937 families with 1,516 children, of which about 200 are in communities near the front line. Unfortunately, not all parents realize that they need to leave," he said.
According to him, 115 families with 196 children have evacuated from the communities under heavy enemy fire. Of these, 44 families with 92 children were evacuated directly with the help of evacuation teams.
