Seventeen people injured in Russian shelling of Kherson region today
Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.
"From morning until evening, the occupiers have been covering region’s peaceful settlements with fire. So far, 17 have been injured. The youngest injured is a two-month-old baby. The girl is currently in the hospital with a blast-related head injury of moderate severity. Her grandfather was killed by Russia, doctors keep fighting for her mother's life," wrote Prokudin.
He added that in the afternoon, the occupiers shelled the central part of Kherson, killing two people and injuring ten more. Two more people came under fire in Beryslav.
As reported by Ukrinform, the number of injured in Russia’s shelling of the central part of Kherson has increased to ten. Among those injured are health workers and a patient of a medical institution.
