Man injured as explosive detonated in Kherson

In Kherson, a 50-year-old man was injured as an unidentified object exploded.

"A 50-year-old local resident was injured in Kherson as a result of an explosion of an unknown object," the Kherson Regional Military Administration said in a post on Telegram.

According to the administration, the man lit a fire near his house, in which explosives detonated.

"The victim was hospitalized with mine and blast injuries and thermal burns to his chest, abdomen and hands. Currently, doctors are providing him with the necessary assistance," the Kherson Regional Military Administration added.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Kherson Regional Military Administration warned of a possible Russian provocation in the city.
