Kharkiv sector: some Russian units refuse to perform tasks due to death of their commanders
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Espreso.TV by the spokesman for the Khortytsia military unit Nazar Voloshyn.
"The enemy does not give up attempts in this direction, conducting active hostilities. Six combat engagements took place in the Kharkiv sector. Fighting took place near Vovchansk and Lyptsi, assault operations also took place near Sotnytsia Kozachka, but they were unsuccessful. The situation hasn't changed significantly, and I would even say that at the moment our defenders have repelled 4 out of 5 enemy attacks. Fighting continued in the area of Vovchansk, and the Defence Forces stopped the assault. Fighting also continued north of Kharkiv, in the areas of Lukiantsi and Hlyboke. A few hours ago, terrorists launched 3 strikes from Belgorod with about 7 MRLS at Lyptsi, 2 strikes and 6 MRLS at Starytsia and 4 MRLS at Mykolaivka," informed Voloshyn.
According to the spokesman, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed almost 120 occupants, several units of weapons and military equipment in the Kharkiv sector. In addition, he noted, due to the death of some Russian commanders, Russian units refuse to perform combat missions.
"There is information that there are numerous cases of enemy personnel refusing to go. In particular, the assault unit of the 153rd tank regiment of the 47th tank division of the Russian Armed Forces refuses to perform the assigned tasks because they have lost several people in the command structure," the spokesman said.
As Ukrinform reported, on 28 June, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Ukrainian Defence Forces had stopped the Russian offensive in Kharkiv region, although the situation there is difficult.
