Russian strike on Dnipro: five dead, number of injured rises to 47
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"...The number of victims has increased to 47 people," Lysak said.
According to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on Facebook, a hospital in Dnipro was damaged in the attack. However, the medical staff continues to provide assistance to the victims.
"Despite the fact that almost all the windows and doors were smashed by the blast wave, the medical facility continues to operate, and medical staff remain on site to help the victims of the attack on the city. Fortunately, there were no casualties among the hospital staff and patients," the statement said.
The Ministry of Health noted that the number of injured may change.
"The victims continue to be reported. The numbers are being clarified," the Ministry of Health said.
As Ukrinform reported, five people were killed in Dnipro as a result of a morning Russian attack with missiles and drones. Earlier there was information about 39 victims, including a child.
On July 4, the city declared a day of mourning for the victims of Russian missile attacks that have occurred in recent days.
