Number of casualties from Russian missile attack on Kyiv rises to 96

In Kyiv, the number of victims of a Russian missile attack has risen to 96, including three children.

This was announced by Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko in his Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The number of victims in Kyiv as a result of today's enemy attack continues to increase. So far, 96 people have been injured, including three children. 52 of the wounded were hospitalised. Others were treated on the spot," Klitschko wrote.

He noted that the deaths of two adults in the Okhmatdyt hospital have been confirmed. One of them is a young doctor of the medical institution. In total, there are currently 16 injured in the hospital.

"Seven of them are children. 15 victims were hospitalised. Two victims from other districts died in hospital," the mayor added.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the morning of 8 July, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Ukraine, firing 38 missiles. In the capital, 20 people died as a result of the attack.
