Zelensky and Duda discuss defense cooperation

President Volodymyr Zelensky and his Polish colleague Andrzej Duda discussed defense cooperation and the needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to Ukrinform, Zelensky posted this on Facebook.

"I informed him about Russian strikes. We discussed what is needed to give more protection to our people. Defense cooperation and the needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces are top priorities," he said.

The heads of state emphasized the importance of the inaugural Peace Summit and the security agreement between Ukraine and Poland.

"We believe in a peaceful, strong Ukraine together with a peaceful, strong Poland. The Ukrainian army protects the security of Poland and the whole of Europe. And we are grateful that Poland is helping us," Zelensky emphasized.

As reported, on July 8, Kyiv and Warsaw signed a security agreement.
