Despite Russia's attack on Okhmatdyt, United States does not lift restrictions on Ukraine's use of weapons
This was announced by White House adviser John Kirby, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Kirby said that their policy has not changed. A few weeks ago, the president authorized Ukraine to use American weapons to strike directly across the border. This is how it remains.
As reported by Ukrinform, on July 8, Russia launched massive strikes in Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and other cities in Ukraine. According to recent reports, 42 people were killed, including four children, and 190 were injured.
In the capital, one of the missiles hit the building of the Okhmatdyt children's hospital. Two floors of one of the buildings with an area of approximately 400 square meters were destroyed. Several other buildings were damaged.
