Slatyne in Kharkiv region under Russian fire second day in row
That’s according to Viacheslav Zadorenko, head of the Derhachi municipal military administration, Ukrinform reports.
"Yesterday, from 19:30 to 20:50, the invaders hit the village at least 14 times, using long-range field artillery, targeting the civilian population. Today, shelling has been going on since 10:30. In total, about 20 households have been damaged," the official wrote on Telegram.

As Zadorenko reported, on July 10, the village was shelled for the first time since 2022. A 60-year-old woman was killed and a 70-year-old man – injured.
"Several buildings were completely destroyed, more than 10 were seriously damaged. As of the morning of July 11, about 3,000 residents remain without electricity in the Derhachi community. There is no electricity supply in all settlements, except for Derhachi and Ruska Lozova," the head of the community said.
Energy and utility workers scrambled to the impact sites, while local government officials and the local humanitarian center provide assistance to residents.
As reported earlier, on July 10, Russian troops hit the village of Slatyne in the Kharkiv district six times. Fires broke out and several houses were destroyed.
