Enemy regroups in Kharkiv direction, active near Hlyboke and Vovchansk - military

“The situation in the operational area of the Kharkiv Joint Task Force is characterized by enemy activity in the areas of Hlyboke and Vovchansk. As part of preparations for offensive actions, the enemy is regrouping personnel and reconnoitering routes of advance using UAVs. In the area of Lukiantsi, the Russian occupants switched to defense,” the statement said.
As noted, a total of 12 combat engagements took place over the past day. The enemy launched 13 air strikes against the positions of Ukrainian troops using 23 KABs, one missile strike, and 36 kamikaze drone strikes. The enemy fired 430 times at the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Three combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day, two of which are still ongoing.
In the course of the fighting, the Russian occupants did not succeed, and no Ukrainian positions were lost.
According to the press service, over the past day, the Defense Forces killed 108 occupants and captured one. They also destroyed 38 pieces of enemy weapons and military equipment, 57 shelters for enemy personnel, and one ammunition storage facility.
As reported, the total combat losses of Russian troops in Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to July 22, 2024, amounted to about 567,760 people, including another 1,050 people in the past day.
