War update: 149 clashes in past day, most Russian assaults repelled in Pokrovsk, Kurakhove axes

Over the past day, the Ukrainian military has recorded 149 combat engagements with the invasion forces along the frontlines.

That’s according to Dmytro Hutsuliak, the spokesman for the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, who spoke on the air of the national telethon, Ukrinform reports.

"Over the past 24 hours, 149 combat clashes have been recorded. Yesterday, the enemy launched four missile strikes against the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, using six missiles, as well as 58 airstrikes, involving 79 KAB gliding bombs, and 4,811 artillery strikes, including 144 involving jet artillery," the spokesman said.

According to Hutsuliak, over the past day, Ukraine’s Air Force, as well as missile and artillery units, have launched 13 strikes on enemy manpower clusters, hit a control post, an artillery system, two anti-aircraft missile systems, and a radar.

"Over the past day, Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 1,230. Also, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 11 tanks, 26 armored fighting vehicles, 45 artillery systems, two air defense systems, 66 UAVs of the operational and tactical level, 79 vehicles, and 11 units of specialized equipment," the spokesperson recalled.

Kharkiv axis: the enemy continued the assaults as eight combat clashes unfolded in the areas of Hlyboke, Tykhe, and Sotnytskyi Kozachok.

Kupiansk axis: eight skirmishes were reported. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near the settlements of Synkivka, Stelmakhivka, and Petropavlivka.

Lyman axis: Ukrainian troops repelled 15 assaults in the areas of Makiivka, Nevske, and Serebriansk. The enemy actively employed attack aircraft.

Siversk axis: Defense Forces repelled nine attacks near Verkhniokamianske and Ivano-Daryivka.

Kramatorsk axis: Ukrainian forces stopped 12 enemy attempts to break through their defenses in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Nove, and toward Novomarkove.

Toretsk axis: the enemy focused their efforts near the settlements of Pivnichne and New York, where, with air support, they launched seven assaults.

Pokrovsk axis: Ukraine’s defenders repelled 38 attacks in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Novoselivka Persha, Novo-oleksandrivka, Vovche, and Karlivka, where the invaders tried to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions, actively involving air raids.

Kurakhove axis: Defense Forces continue to restrain the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Kostyantynivka, and Paraskoviivka, where the enemy tried to break through the defenses of our troops 32 times.

Vremivka axis: the invaders launched 13 unsuccessful attacks on Ukraine’s positions near Kostiantynivka and Vodiane. Unguided air missiles targeted Vuhledar and Urozhaine.

Orikhiv axis: three combat clashes took place near Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, and Novodarivka.

Prydniprovia axis: four Russian attacks were repelled.

No signs of enemy offensive groupings being formed were spotted in the Volyn and Polissia axes where the pperational situation underwent no significant changes.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the number of combat clashes at the front increased.
