One dead, one wounded as Russians shell Kupiansk district
The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this via Telegram, Ukrinform saw.
"According to the investigation, on July 25 at around 5:15, Russian artillery shelled the village of Podoly in the Kupiansk district. A 48-year-old man was killed," the post says.
At approximately 5:10, the Russian military launched an airstrike on the village of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi.
"A 52-year-old man was wounded. Tentatively, a FAB-1500 with an UMPK flight correction module hit the settlement," the prosecutor's office said.
In addition, this morning, Russian troops launched an airstrike on the village of Prykolotne in the Kupiansk district. According to tentative reports, an UMBD D-30 SN 30 mm gliding munition was used.
"In all the said settlements, only civilian infrastructure was damaged as a result of enemy shelling: residential buildings, commercial premises, shops, and cars," the prosecutor's office reported.
A pre-trial inquiry has been intitiated into violations of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
As reported, three people were killed and six were injured as a result of a Russian missile attack on the town of Lozova, Kharkiv region, on July 24.
