Two top officials from Putin's inner circle are served suspicion notices in Ukraine

It has been established that both officials are members of Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin's inner circle and help him wage war against Ukraine.

Thus, Dyumin, who used to be Putin's bodyguard and later became the governor of the Tula region, "mobilised" the region for hostilities in Ukraine. In particular, he organised the partial mobilisation of men in the Tula region, created the Centre for Unmanned Systems and set up the production of FPV drones and other drones there, and instructed his subordinates to meet Russia's military needs in every way possible.

Deputy Defence Minister Yevkurov, for his part, ensures the ongoing training of contract soldiers and those mobilised into the Russian armed forces, who then go to war in Ukraine.

The SSU, jointly with the Prosecutor General's Office, served suspicion notices in absentia to both men, who are charged with planning, preparing, starting and waging an aggressive war under Article 437 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Comprehensive measures are being taken to punish the criminals.

Law enforcement officers continue to conduct pre-trial investigations.

As Ukrinform previously reported, in May, the SSU served a notice of suspicion in absentia to Russian Deputy Defence Minister Oleksii Krivoruchko.
