War update: 261 clashes on front lines, Ukrainian forces halt 71 attacks in Pokrovsk sector

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a war update published on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

According to the update, the enemy launched 59 airstrikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, dropping 88 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, Russian forces conducted over 4,000 shelling attacks, including 211 from multiple rocket launchers, and deployed 1,385 kamikaze drones.

Airstrikes targeted areas around settlements such as Ivolzhanske, Kyianytsia, Dovha Balka, Krasne Pershe, Nova Balka, Pokrovsk, Oleksiivka, Rozlyv, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Verkhnia Tersa, and Kopani.

During the past 24 hours, Ukrainian aviation, missile, and artillery forces struck six enemy personnel and equipment concentration areas.

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian forces launched five assaults on Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk, Tykhe, and toward Kozacha Lopan.

Ukrainian forces repelled enemy attacks near Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kolisnykivka, Lozova, and toward Novoosynove in the Kupiansk sector, where 39 attacks occurred.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy attempted 27 assaults, trying to penetrate Ukrainian defenses near Zelenyi Hai, Novoiehorivka, Hrekivka, Kolodiazi, Yampolivka, Terny, Torske, and Dibrova.

Ukrainian defenders repelled ten enemy assaults in the Siversk sector, where Russian forces attempted advances near Verkhniokamianske and Ivano-Dariivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, occupiers launched 29 attacks near Predtechyne, Stupochky, Bila Hora, and Chasiv Yar.

Russian forces carried out 19 assaults in the Toretsk sector, targeting Toretsk, Dyliivka, and Krymske.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian forces halted 71 enemy attacks near Zelene Pole, Tarasivka, Vodiane Druhe, Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Shevchenko, Pishchane, Kotlyne, Nadiivka, Andriivka, and Udachne.

In the Novopavlivsk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 25 Russian assaults near Zelenivka, Rozlyv, Novyi Komar, Novosilka, and Velyka Novosilka.

On the Orikhiv sector, Russian occupiers launched two attacks near Novoandriivka.

Russian forces launched eight unsuccessful attempts to advance in the Dnipro River sector.

Over the past day, 15 combat clashes occurred in the Kursk sector, where the enemy carried out 33 airstrikes, dropping 49 guided bombs, and conducted 332 artillery strikes, including 11 from multiple rocket launchers.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian forces did not conduct active offensive operations.

No signs of enemy assault force formation were detected in the Volyn and Polissia sectors.
