Russian forces pressure certain areas on Novopavlivka front, deploying armored columns

Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Group of Forces, stated this on Ukrainian television, Ukrinform reports.

"The situation there [in the Novopavlivka sector] is difficult. There are certain areas where Russian forces are applying significant pressure. They have attempted to advance with armored columns -- usually unsuccessfully -- but they are trying hard to break through. So, I would say that this front is quite challenging for us at the moment," Trehubov said.

According to him, Ukrainian forces are holding the defense in the Novopavlivka sector, resisting enemy advances and inflicting heavy losses on Russian troops -- not only in personnel but also in equipment.
