Russia reports drone attack on oil pumping station in Krasnodar Krai
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Telegram channel Astra, citing a statement from Russia's Ministry of Defense.
The ministry claimed the attack occurred at around 02:00 local time on Monday. It asserted that air defense systems intercepted the drone approximately seven kilometers from the facility, though its debris fell near the Kavkazskaya railway station.
Earlier, on March 24, reports emerged about damage to the Kavkazskaya station in the city of Kropotkin following a drone attack.
Footage from the scene, captured by witnesses, shows shattered windows in the station's administrative building. Residents of Kropotkin reported hearing multiple explosions overnight.
On March 19, a group of drones attacked an oil depot in Krasnodar Krai, southern Russia.
The targeted Kavkazskaya facility is used for transferring Russian oil from rail transport to the pipeline system of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC), handling up to six million tonnes per year.
In mid-February, the Kropotkinskaya oil pumping station in Krasnodar Krai was also attacked and rendered inoperable.
