Railway worker who passes data on AFU to Russians exposed in Kharkiv
The Prosecutor General's Office reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
Under the procedural supervision of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, the citizen was served a notice of suspicion of collecting and disseminating information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Part 2 of Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, an employee of one of the local railway stations, having pro-Russian views, actively assisted the Russian armed forces.
He recorded data on the location of Ukrainian military equipment, personnel of the Defense Forces, and critical infrastructure facilities in Kharkiv and the region.
This information was leaked to a pro-Russian Telegram channel.
"Later, the enemy used this data to plan and carry out fire attacks on units of the Defense Forces and critical infrastructure facilities," the statement said.
During a search of the suspect's residence, evidence of his illegal activities was found and seized.
At the request of the prosecutors, the suspect was chosen a measure of restraint in the form of detention.
As reported, law enforcement officers in the Dnipro region exposed an FSB agent who was collecting intelligence on the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
