The Ukrainian side is currently aware of about 301 citizens who were illegally "convicted" and are held in places of detention in the occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Another 258 citizens have gone missing.
Over the past four years, Ukraine and Turkey have been implementing more than 30 joint defense projects.

During the opening of the 5th multinational annual conference on improving the training of sergeants in Ukraine under the NATO DEEP (Defense Education Enhancement Program), the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Valery Zaluzhnyi, said he could not rule out the further spread of military aggression on the part of Russia.
The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission has recorded in the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions (ORDLO) a number of Russian-made Grad-K multiple rocket launchers that are in service with the Russian military only.
