Ukraine to receive $300 mln from World Bank and EBRD – prime minister

A Ukrainian delegation will go to Brussels in November to sign an agreement worth USD 300 million.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk stated this during the talk show on 1+1 TV Channel on Thursday evening, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“It all starts with a dream. A memorandum with reputable organizations such as the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) means a lot! They all know what they sign. In November, we will go to Brussels to sign an agreement worth USD 300 million," Honcharuk said.

As Ukrinform reported, Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk and EBRD Vice President Alain Pilloux signed a memorandum on the regional roads financing program on the sidelines of the international investment forum RE:THINK. Invest in Ukraine. EBRD partners will issue loans to regional state administrations under local guarantees. There are plans to start with the reconstruction of local roads in Kherson region.
