Ukraine, Jordan sign memorandum on cooperation in IT
As the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informs, the deputy minister met with the leadership of the Jordanian IT Association Int@j during his visit to Jordan on October 25.
Senik presented Ukraine's achievements in the field of digitalization and spoke about the Diia City special legal regime for the IT industry, under which IT companies in Ukraine will receive a special tax model, flexible employment terms, and a separate procedure for interaction with government regulators.
The parties exchanged experience in the introduction of information technologies and digitalization of public services and discussed prospects for the development of cooperation in the field of IT.
In order to establish cooperation between Ukrainian and Jordanian IT companies, the parties signed a memorandum of understanding between the Exporters and Investors Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Jordanian IT Association Int@j.
As a first step in implementing the memorandum provisions, Senik suggested organizing a business forum in 2022 with the participation of Ukrainian and Jordanian IT companies in order to get acquainted with the opportunities and proposals of the Ukrainian IT market and establish direct business contacts.
The deputy minister also handed over the cooperation proposals from the Ukrainian IT companies to the executive director of the Jordanian IT Association Int@j.
