Over 80% of Ukrainian enterprises resume work - PM Shmyhal
That’s according to Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, who spoke at the opening of a government meeting August 23, Ukrinform reports.
"Credit, tax, and regulatory incentives, along with other point aid, made it possible to sustain our economic front. As a result, more than 80% of enterprises have now returned to work," the prime minister said.
Shmyhal added that the government had already helped more than 600 companies relocate to safer regions, where they have resumed production.
According to PM, Ukrainian farmers managed to sow across more than 80% of last year's area and start harvesting.
"The energy and banking systems are working in a stable manner," the head of government noted.
As reported, Ukraine has a state program for the relocation of production capacities. Enterprises that are located in the zone of active hostilities could receive state assistance in moving their facilities westward.
