The Swedish government has decided to contribute almost $30 million to Ukraine Energy Support Fund.
This was announced by Energy Minister of Ukraine German Galushchenko following his meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of Sweden Ebba Busch, Ukrinform reports with reference to the ministry’s press service.
"Sweden will also allocate funds to support the IAEA mission, which works at all Ukrainian nuclear power plants. It is also important that observers have the opportunity to record the impact of Russian attacks on our energy system, as well as nuclear and radiation safety," Galushchenko said.
The minister added that Ukraine constantly receives from international partners both monetary aid and equipment that helps restore energy facilities after Russian attacks.
