The situation at Zaporizhzhya NPP as of July 6 remains stable and under control. The water level in the cooling pond is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.

That's according to the Energoatom on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Despite the blowing up of the Kakhovka HPP dam by the Russian occupiers, the situation remains stable and under control. As of 06:00 on July 6, a slight decrease in the water level in the cooling pond was recorded. It is currently 16.54 meters," the statement reads.

Energoatom noted that the water level in the thermal power plant canal, from which the ZNPP pond is taking water if necessary, is at 11.15 meters. Recently, the water level in the canal has not actually changed, its indicators no longer depend on the Kakhovka reservoir.
