Ukraine to host first forum of defense industries this autumn – Zelensky
He announced this at a meeting with the heads of foreign diplomatic institutions, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"The first forum of defense industries will be held in Ukraine in the autumn," Zelensky said.
He called on ambassadors to work on the maximum presence of foreign companies at this event, as well as on specific projects.
"Of course, domestic companies will also be present, but our task is to unite everyone on the Ukrainian platform. Events dedicated to the production of drones are held constantly. There are opportunities to localize the production of military equipment, guns, and shells," Zelensky added.
The president thanked the heads of foreign diplomatic institutions who achieved significant results in the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
"Ukraine is getting more weapons than anyone could have predicted at the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. But our power is still less than our soldiers need to clearly prevail over the Russian invaders. The activity of our diplomacy should ensure that the frontline situation changes to Ukraine's advantage. And this is possible," Zelensky said.
