In de-occupied Kherson region, Ukrainian farmers collect 57K t of grain crops so far
That’s according to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.
"Despite extensive mine contamination of fields, looting of agricultural machinery by the invaders, constant shelling and water-related terrorism by the Russians, our agrarians have planted and continue to harvest their crops," the report says.
As noted, 57,000 tons of grain crops, 4,400 tons of rapeseed, 16,000 tons of potatoes, 11,500 tons of vegetables, and 300 tons of melon products have already been collected. Tomatoes are also being actively cultivated.
The video posted by the administration shows the results of farmers' work.
As reported, sappers surveyed 73,890.9 hectares of territories in the de-occupied parts of Kherson region, of which 62,771.4 hectares were farmlands. More than 92,600 explosive objects were detected and neutralized.
