After the government program of interest-free lending to individuals for the purchase of energy generation equipment was launched, Ukrainian banks immediately started issuing the relevant loans.

This was reported by the Economy Ministry, Ukrinform reports.

"In communication with banks, we see an active interest in the zero-rate lending program. This means that Ukrainians can buy and install solar panels with energy storage systems or wind turbines in their own households, with credit funds. At the same time, the interest rate will remain at 0% because the interest is fully covered by our government," stressed the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy Yuliya Svyrydenko.
