More than 100 Ukrainian companies have gained access to the Brave1 Dataroom platform and are using it to train artificial intelligence models on real-world data, according to Ukraine's Ministry of Defense.

"More than 100 Ukrainian companies have already received access to Brave1 Dataroom and are using the platform to train artificial intelligence models based on real data," the ministry said in a statement.

Brave1 Dataroom is a secure environment that provides developers with access to structured datasets for validating, training, and fine-tuning AI solutions for military applications. These datasets include visual and thermal imagery of aerial targets collected under real operational conditions.

The ministry also explained how Brave1 Dataroom is helping accelerate the development of interceptor drones. One of the platform's key focus areas is advancing technologies for the automatic detection and interception of hostile drones. Companies are working with data on various types of aerial targets gathered in different weather conditions, at different times of day, and using a range of sensors. This enables AI models to be trained on scenarios that closely reflect the realities of modern warfare. Particular attention has been given to countering Shahed-type attack drones and other enemy unmanned aerial systems.

"The use of real-world data significantly improves the accuracy of target-recognition algorithms, reduces response times, and enhances the effectiveness of autonomous interceptor drones," the ministry said.

The ministry added that dozens of AI- and computer vision-based systems are already being actively used on the battlefield, carrying out a wide range of tactical and strategic missions. These include autonomous drone guidance, GPS-independent navigation in electronic warfare environments during both day and night operations, automated intelligence analysis, detection of concealed enemy equipment and personnel, control of autonomous firing positions, and data analysis and prediction of enemy actions within the DELTA battlefield management system.

To accelerate the deployment of machine vision and artificial intelligence across all frontline drones, the government is expanding cooperation with international companies. Ukraine is also developing a unique win-win partnership model through the Avengers Labs platform, which allows Ukrainian and foreign companies to train AI models using millions of annotated frames collected from real combat drone missions.

Brave1 Dataroom was created as part of the Brave1 defense innovation cluster with the participation of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Military Intelligence Research Institute, and the U.S.-based company Palantir Technologies.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said earlier that Ukrainian drones were already autonomously intercepting and destroying Shahed-type drones.
