Trump announces peace agreement with Iran to be signed on Sunday

U.S. President Donald Trump wrote about this on the social media platform TruthSocial, according to Ukrinform.

Donald Trump stated that the agreement was scheduled to be signed the following day and that, immediately after its signing, the Strait of Hormuz would be open to everyone.

He called “his” agreement with Iran “a wall that will ensure the absence of nuclear weapons [in Iran].”

“In fact, they no longer seek to have nuclear weapons and will not have them—neither by purchase, nor by development, nor by any other means,” the U.S. president emphasized.

He expressed his conviction that U.S. relations with Iran are “much better than under previous administrations” in the White House.

Trump also stated that “at the appropriate time, when things calm down, the U.S. will retrieve the nuclear debris,” which, he said, is deeply buried following a strike by B-2 bombers, and which his administration intends to “destroy either in Iran or in the United States.”

Donald Trump concluded that they looked forward to working with Iran and the entire Middle East in the future and expressed hope that the process would proceed quickly, easily, and smoothly. He added that, if it did not, they had the best alternative available, which he hoped would never have to be used again.

As reported by Ukrinform, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that the U.S. and Iran will sign an initial agreement within 24 hours.
