Ukraine ready to share cybersecurity experience with U.S. - Markarova
Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova said this during a webinar organized by the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council, Ukrinform's own correspondent reports.
"We in Ukraine have a lot to share on this issue. We have dealt with a large number of cyberattacks [from Russia] before they were detected here in the United States, and we know what to do [in such cases],” said Markarova.
According to her, Ukraine has taken certain protection measures and is ready to cooperate on this issue with the United States and other Western countries.
"Together we can develop a plan on how to increase efficiency and effectiveness in a coordinated response to this challenge," Markarova said.
In addition, according to her, the Ukrainian side is ready to develop a dialogue with the United States in many other areas, including innovation and climate change.
As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Markarova as Ukraine's ambassador to the United States on February 25. On April 20, Markarova left for Washington.
