In response to the refusal of the Croatian authorities to help Russia fly its expelled diplomats home, the Russian Foreign Ministry has threatened a "worthy response."

The official said the move is part of “belligerent Russophobia.”

"The inhumane, outrageous attitude towards our fellow citizens will not go unnoticed," said the Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman.

It should be recalled that in early April, Russian embassies across the world saw many of their diplomats and staff being expelled from host countries.
