Zelensky on Morawiecki’s visit: Symbol of unity and solidarity
The president stated this at a joint press conference with the head of the Polish government, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Mateusz's presence today in Ukraine, here in the capital, is a powerful symbol of the unity of Ukraine and Poland, our common indomitability, our effective solidarity," Zelenskyy said.

He emphasized that Poland stood with Ukraine even before the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation and every minute throughout the last year. The president is also convinced that Poland will remain standing with Ukraine "until our joint victory."
The president recalled that Poland is one of the top allies in terms of the amount of aid provided to Ukraine – it is about military, economic, humanitarian, and political support.
Zelensky informed that he discussed with Morawiecki the whole range of defense issues, including weapons for Ukraine, thanks to which "there can be an acceleration of Russia's defeat" on the battlefield.
In addition, the issues of European and Euro-Atlantic integration and reconstruction of Ukraine were discussed, the President added.
As reported, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki is in Kyiv on Friday.
