Shmyhal, Morawiecki discuss supply of military equipment, training of Ukrainian military
The Ukrainian Prime Minister said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“I had a conversation with Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki. We greatly appreciate Poland's military support. We discussed further cooperation in the supply of military equipment, as well as training of the Ukrainian military,” the report says.
Shmyhal also thanked Poland for the assistance provided to the State Emergency Service in the form of machinery and equipment to eliminate the consequences of the Russian terrorist attack on the Kakhovka HPP.
In addition, the Prime Ministers coordinated preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference in London.
"We are counting on new agreements and certain projects based on its results," Shmyhal said.
As reported by Ukrinform, Ukrainian rescuers received nine ultra power fire pumps from their Polish colleagues. Poland and some other countries provided humanitarian aid at Ukraine's request through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism after the Kakhovka HPP blast.
