Latvia joins the G7 declaration of support for Ukraine
This was announced on Twitter by Latvian Prime Minister Krišjānis Kariņš, according to Ukrinform.
“Latvia joins G7 Declaration of support to Ukraine. Together with our partners we will support Ukraine in its fight against Russia’s aggression for as long as it takes. We expect an ad hoc international tribunal for Russia aggression against Ukraine”, he wrote.
As reported, the leaders of the G7 countries agreed on a Joint Declaration of Support for Ukraine on the sidelines of the NATO Summit in Vilnius.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the G7 Framework Declaration, if approved in Vilnius, would be the first legal document on security guarantees for Ukraine and would provide an opportunity to conclude relevant bilateral 'powerful' agreements.
