U.S. orders relatives of embassy staff to leave Ukraine

The U.S. Department of State on January 24 authorized the voluntary departure ("authorized departure") of U.S. government employees and ordered the departure of family members ("ordered departure") of U.S. government employees at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, effective immediately.

Ex-Canadian judge elected head of Selection Commission for selection of HQCJ members

Ted Zarzeczny, a retired judge at the Court of Queen's Bench for Saskatchewan, Canada, has been elected chairman of the Selection Commission for the selection of candidates for the positions of members of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine (HQCJ), and Ivan Mishchenko, a judge of the Commercial Cassation Court, has been elected co-chairman of the Selection Commission.


EU Commissioner Varhelyi to visit Kyiv next week

Kuleba says ready to meet with Lavrov

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said he is ready for a trilateral meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov if the Russian side agrees to this meeting.
