The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan illuminated its building in the colors of the Ukrainian flag as a sign of support for Ukraine.
A corresponding photo of the Embassy front wall on Pall Mall in London was published by Guildhall, Ukrinform reports.
The move by Kazakhstan was another sign of deteriorating relations with Russia.
On July 13, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry announced plans to expand cooperation with the European Union. First of all, this is about the transport and logistics industry, as well as the sphere of economic and food security.
Also earlier, Kazakhstan withdrew from the 1995 CIS agreement on economic cooperation. The corresponding decree was signed by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
