Iceland to give a field hospital to Ukraine

The Parliament of Iceland supported a proposal to send a field hospital to Ukraine.

Prime Minister of Iceland Katrin Jakobsdóttir wrote this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.  

“All parties in the Icelandic parliament have united in proposing that Iceland will give a field hospital to Ukraine,” the report says.

The prime minister stressed that Iceland remains “committed to supporting the Ukrainian people: this gesture is a symbol of our continued solidarity.”

As reported, since Russia’s full-scale invasion, Iceland has provided Ukraine with an aid worth more than $25 million.
